Race 2 $52,000 Claiming ($20K) 6F Dirt 1:39 PM ET
There have been (55) 6F races, 54 were dirt races AND 13 were claiming. Gustavo Rodriguez is the only trainer to have a win on 6F dirt in this race. I’m going with the #3 Lost in Rome with Lezcano and G. Rodriguez. The #7 Casalsa with Saez, who has the most wins in this race with nine. Behind that I’m taking the #1 Ragtime Blues with Gomez and the #4 Long Term Thinking with Dylan.

Race 3 $83,000 Maiden Special Weight 5.5F Turf 2:13 PM ET
There have been (73) 5.5F races, 59 were turf, and 23 were Maiden. I’m going with the #5 Numero Seis 5-1 with Jose Ortiz. The #3 Mrs. Cash Man 12-1 with Franco is an unraced horse and I have to put the horse in the mix due to the wild card factor. The #4 Sirius Light 2-1 with Johnny V, The #6 Influentialous 5-1 with Carmouche, and the #7 Run for Cover 6-1. These three horses have raced together (with a couple others) and we all know that I like horses that have raced together.

Race 4 $125,000 Allowance Optional Claiming 1 1/8 Miles (9F) Turf 2:49 PM ET
There have been (36) 9F races. Four of those have been on turf. Two of those have been Allowance. There are only six horses in this race. I’m going with the money on this one. The #4 Value Engineering 5-2 has Prat/Brown/Klaravich. Prat has three wins at 9F, Brown has seven wins at 9F, and Klaravich has two wins at 9F. One of those wins was the three of them as a trio. One of Chad Brown’s other wins was with owner Peter Brant. With that being said, the #2 Flop Shot 4-1 is a Brown/Brant trainer and owner combo. Franco also has a win with Chad Brown. Behind that I’m going with the #6 Street Ready 3-1 with Saez and the #3 Glynn County 8-1 with Carmouche.

Flying P Stable is the only owner in this race to have a 9F win. None of these trainers have a win at 9F. The #4 Bees and Honey 9-5 has Jose Ortiz on the mount and he has four wins at 9F. Bees and Honey has won a G3 stakes races at 9F by 2 ¾ lengths earning a Beyer rating of 113. The only other horse to come close to this class of a race is the #6 W W Fitzy 2-1 finishing 1st in a $141K Allowance by 2 lengths earning a Beyer rating of 112. Behind that I’m taking the #3 Sweet Willemina 4-1 with Franco and the #2 Family Time 9-2 with Alvarado.

I’m going with the #6 Inflation Nation 2-1, the #4 Listentothemusic 6-1, the #5 Balsa 8-1, and the #8 Bolt Above 12-1.

The #9 Dream of Change 9-2 with Prat/Brown/Klaravich Stables. The #7 Our Jessica 12-1 has Johnny V and David Donk. Johnny V has a win at 8.5F turf and David Donk has four wins. The #8 Tapple Cider 20-1 and the #6 Masabeeh 6-1.

There has also been one trainer, Robertino Diodoro, that has won a race at this distance. I’m going with the leading jockeys in this race due to the fact that there is not a lot to choose from in this race. Saez (9) and Franco (8) are the leading jockeys at this distance. I’m going with #2 Rossa Veloce 8-1 with Franco and Michelle Nevine, the #5 Hydra 6-1 (Scratched) with Saez and Jeffrey Englehart. Behind that I’m going with sibling rivalry. HAHA…The #4 Melting Snow with Dylan and the #6 It Can (Scratched) with Jacky. Adding the #1 Short Summer Dress 4-5 and #3 Invaluable 7-2.

There have been (58) 8.5F races and (54) of them have been on turf. Nine of those have been stakes races. Most of these horses are going straight from maiden races to stakes. The 3 and 7 have both ran a stakes already after their maidens. However, neither horse has run at this distance. I’m going with the #5 Idea Generation 5-2 with Prat/Brown/Klaravich. Again, we all know that I like to follow the money. The #1 Lady Jasmine 6-1 with Johnny V/Donk/Donk. David Donk has 4 wins at 8.5F turf. One of those wins was with Johnny V and he was the owner. Behind that I’m going with the #6 Be Your Best 7-5 with Jose Ortiz, and the #8 Recognize 8-1 with Alvarado.

Linda Rice is the only trainer to have wins at this distance and surface with two. Both wins were with jockey Lezcano (his only two wins at this distance and surface). I’m going with the #8 Power Agenda 9-2 (Scratched) with Saez, the #10 Lucky Brody 6-1 with Franco, the #6 Be the Boss 6-1 with Jose Ortiz, the #3 Got the Gold 4-1 with Lezcano. Adding #1 Midaswellrun 4-1.
