Lastly, in 2019 they advanced to the sweet 16 and beat their 1st round opponent Colgate 77-70. Tennessee at home went 4-2 against TOP 20 competition beating Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn and Texas. On the road they went 0-4 against TOP 20 teams losing to Auburn, Texas A&M, Kentucky and Arizona. Overall against TOP 40 teams they average 67 points, allowing 66 with totals of 133.

Prediction: UT 86 - 57 WIN

How much is the loss of guard Zakai Zeigler to Tennessee? The Vols are 2-2 in the past two games after losing Zakai Zeigler to a season-ending ACL tear in his left knee. They won against Arkansas following Zeigler's injury in the opening minutes. I don’t think it will impact the Vol’s in this game, but moving on it will be a BIG impact. Let’s look at the last two games against Texas; Tennessee won 82-71 at home and lost on the road 51-52. In comparison to Louisiana that lost on the road to Texas 72-100. At halftime it was Texas 57 - Louisiana 35 and Texas went on to out score Louisiana 43-37 in the second half with back-up players. With 4-mins left in the game it was 98-60! Louisiana NEVER led at any point in the game.
