DAY 7 BELMONT MAY 7

Rain Rain go away! Nothing for Belmont today.

I will be playing the Derby at Churchill Downs. Here ya go!

RACE 12 - THE DERBY

Only five horses have raced 9.5 Furlongs: the top three in the LA Derby (Epicenter, Zozos, and Pioneer of Medina), and the top two in Dubai (Crown Pride and Summer is Tomorrow) #7 Crown Pride’s last race was a shock to most people. Crown came up flying from the back to finish 1st by 2 ¾ lengths and looked like he could have kept going. The horse has a different jockey today, however, the horse has been in the states since mid April getting comfortable with this track. # 4 Summer is Tomorrow (as you can see from the above paragraph) stayed in the lead over in Dubai and got caught by Crown to finish 2nd. His times were good and just got surprised (like everyone else). He has only been working out in the states since 5/2 and he has the same jockey. A couple of horses you might want to rethink are #6 Messier and # 12 Taiba. They were Bob Baffert's horses until April. He then gave them to: Tim Yakteen (former assistant to Baffert until 2004). Along with the horses, a groomer and exercise trainer went to Yakteen

Take: #7 Crown Pride
