After a solid two days of vaction, I'm rested and ready to win. Going with one losing team to win... and the other two teams just have dam good pitching. If you didn't know by now, I slant heavy on Pitching. I was born and raised with National League Pitching. Pitching WINS games.

Washington Nationals (18-32) and New York Mets (33-17)

TAKE: Nationals (+165) LOSS 0-10

Washington Nationals and Mets meet Tuesday for the second game of a 3-game set at Citi Field. First pitch is schedled for 7:10 p.m. ET. The Nationals LHP Patrick Corbin is (1-7, 6.30 ERA) makes his 11th start. He has a 1.66 WHIP, 4.0 BB/9 and 7.6 K/9 through 50 IP. Corbin posted just his 3rd quality start in 10 outings last time out in a win against the Colorado Rockies Thursday, allowing 3 runs in 6.1 IP.

NY Mets RHP Trevor Williams Is a dismal 0-3 with a 6.86 ERA and .312 opponent batting average through 21 IP over 4 road outings. Williams (0-3, 4.37 ERA) makes his 4th start and 9th appearance. He has a 1.24 WHIP, 1.6 BB/9 and 8.7 K/9 through 22 2/3 IP. Trevor Williams has allowed 2 unearned runs on 4 hits and a walk with 2 strikeouts across 4 2/3 IP across two relief appearances against the Nationals this season. Williams Is 0-0 with a 3.24 ERA in 1 start and 2 relief appearances while striking out 13 batters across 8 1/3 IP at home. Look, I saw Williams pitch for the Indianapolis Indian's tripple A, I was not impressed. How did this guy make it to the bigs is a mystrey to me. Braves (23-25) and Diamondbacks meet Tuesday for the 2nd of a 3-game set at Chase Field. First pitch is scheduled for 9:40 p.m. ET. RHP Charlie Morton (3-3, 5.28 ERA) makes his 10th start. He has a 1.53 WHIP, 2.05 BB/9 and 8.32 K/9 in 44.1 IP. Morton Is 2-0 with a 3.48 ERA across the last 4 starts, and Atlanta is 4-0 during those outings. RHP Humberto Castellano (3-2, 5.22 ERA) makes his 9th start and 11th overall appearance. He has a 1.34 WHIP, 2.27 BB/9 and 6.13 K/9 in 39.2 IP. Castellano coughed up 6 runs, 10 hits and a walk in just 4 innings in Thursday’s loss against the Los Angeles Dodgers. This is as close to an even match up as there is, might be a 1-0, 2-1 game.

Toronto Blue Jays (27-20) vs Chicago White Sox (23-23)

TAKE: White Sox (+150) LOSS 5-6

Tuesday is the the start of a 3-game series in Toronto. RHP Lucas Giolito is 3-1 with a 2.63 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 3.6 BB/9 and 12.2 K/9 in 37 2/3 IP across 7 starts. His last start: Win, 3-1, Wednesday at home vs. the Boston Red Sox with 6 IP, 1 ER, 5 H, 4 BB and 7 K.
