Lets keep the trend going, pick a ML Winner and +1.5 for Wednesday
Colorado Rockies vs. San Francisco Giants
The San Francisco Giants (17-12) will host the Colorado Rockies (16-13) in a NL West showdown. The Giants took the 2nd of a 3 game series against the Rockies and will look to make it a SWEEP as the teams jockey for position in the National League West behind the likes of the Dodgers and Padres.
The San Francisco Giants have the 8th best team batting average in baseball at .241, the sixth best on-base percentage at .321 and the 14th best slugging percentage at .379, which has produced the fourth most runs scored with 139.
Chad Kuhl (3-0, 1.82 ERA, 0.84 WHIP) will make his sixth start of the season on Wednesday. In three road starts Kuhl is 1-0 with a 1.65 ERA. In three career appearances against the Giants, Kuhl has a 3.63 ERA and no decisions.
Alex Cobb (1-1, 4.80 ERA, 1.53 WHIP) is scheduled to make his fifth start of the season. In three home starts, Cobb is 1-1 with a 4.22 ERA. This will be Cobb's first time facing the Rockies since 2013.
The Giants are a big favorite here but have lost three of the four games started by Alex Cobb this season. The Rockies have won four of their five games started by Chad Kuhl. If you have been following my posts you know I firmly believe it’s tough to get a sweep of any team in MLB (except for the Red’s) and well over 80% of the time, I’m correct! Taking Colorado with better pitching!
